Corporations have destroyed our country and economy in the following ways. They have put countless small businesses out of business, they continue to profit from middle and lower America's hardwork, lives, ideas, and wallets. They pay their executives millions and millions of dollars while cutting out jobs and benefits for the working man. Many Fortune 100 companies have accepted billions in government handouts while keeping their corporate jets and executive bonuses and salaries. I worked for a major corporation for several years. Almost immediately upon becoming "vested" with the company, they cut out the 'working' man's benefits!! What has happened to this country? Many major corporations do not play by the rules, they are so big and have so much money that the rules do not apply to them, or so they think.
When the "little" man tries to stand up to corporate America, what does the big corporation do?
They try to DESTROY the little man just like they DESTROYED America.
How about ADVERTISING DESTROYED the CORPORATION that DESTROYED AMERICA. Do you know how much corporations WASTE on advertising. Do Corporations really think that by spending $3 MILLION dollars on a 30 second NFL Superbowl commercial, they will sell $6 extra million dollars of product or services? Come on Mr. CEO, let's get it together, the Internet, is where the advertising and marketing war is won or lost. Not by buying some rights to a stadium or wasting MULTI-MILLIONS on TV commercials.
Candlestick Park, a 39 year historical stadium, was named for Candlestick Point, a point of land jutting into San Francisco Bay. Candlestick Point is itself named for the indigenous "candlestick bird", once common to the point.[1]
The rights to the stadium name were licensed to 3Com Corporation from September, 1995 until 2002. $900,000 a year During that time, the park became known as 3Com Park at Candlestick Point. In 2002, the naming rights deal expired, and the park then became officially known as San Francisco Stadium at Candlestick Point. On September 28, 2004, a new naming rights deal was signed with Monster Cable, a maker of cables for electronic equipment, and the stadium was renamed Monster Park. However, just over a month later, a measure passed in the November 2 election stipulated that the stadium name to revert back to Candlestick permanently after the contract with Monster expired in 2008.[2]
America will even sell out its heritage for the all mighty dollar. Ain't that America?
American Dreams are turning into American Nightmares. Forclosures are still on the rise, jobs are scarce and the average American is continuing to feel the pinch.
BANKS HAVE LOST MORE THAN A TRILLION DOLLARS IN BAD MORTGAGES.
Productivity, hardworkers, and production of physical goods is no longer existant in America. At desk jobs all across America, people are getting paid to visit their Facebook and MySpace pages at work. Americans surf the Internet all day long looking for things to spend money on, thinking their job is secure. Americans no longer manufacture, farm, or produce anything that other countries need. We are allowing Wal-Mart to suck up the United States economy because virtually everything in their store is ..... MADE IN CHINA.
